Part 2: Tianchi lake (Jilin province)

    Tianchi lake
The Tianchi (heaven's lake) is a volcanic crater lake at an elevation of 2194 m in the Changbaishan mountain region between China and North Korea. The mountains at the opposite side of the lake on the photo above belong already to Korea. Changbaishan is the biggest nature reserve Chinas and famous for its dense virgin forests.

    Group photo with three nations
The Tianchi lake is a famous sight specially for Koreans (the ladies left and right in front are from South Korea, in the middle a Chinese girl; the two in the second row you should know).
